Why am I focused on two issues that seem totally different?
Pregnancy and perimenopause have more in common than you might think. Both are times of extreme hormone shifts. Both can be supported when you understand the processes occurring and what unique needs your body has during these times. The key commonality is preparing for each of them. When you know what’s coming, what will be shifting, what changes your body will be going through, and what to expect you feel more empowered and in control.
You don’t have to white knuckle it. Hormones are very receptive to nutrition and lifestyle changes.
No matter what hormonal issue you are struggling with; we can create a plan to support you best. I combine a thorough intake, a nutritional assessment questionnaire, and functional testing to help get to the root of your hormone issues. I also think most women don’t fully understand their hormones, their body, and their menstrual cycle, so I also includes lots of education and PDF’s so that you know what is normal, what’s not, and how to make adjustments based on your cycle, your symptoms and your health goals.
